Let’s see….what is there to say about me?  I am before all else a mother, daughter, sister, girlfriend, and teacher.   A mom to 2 amazing girls.   A daughter to a wonderfully supportive dad (and late mom, who taught me everything I know in and out of the kitchen). A sister (and Aunt) to 2 brothers, a sister-in-law and 2 super adorable nephews.  A loving girlfriend to my guy, who also knows his way around the kitchen and has knife skills like no other (he’s also a chef).  And a preschool teacher for 15 years (3 consecutive)

I come from an Italian-American family who has many traditions I bring to my own family.  My Nana and my Mom have taught me all I know about cooking and entertaining.  Growing up there was always something cooking in our kitchen, whether it be for dinner, a big family holiday or party or just when we were stuck inside on a snow day.     I lost my Mom to breast cancer in January of 2013 and it’s been hard, but keeping her memories alive thru cooking and entertaining has helped me and my girls.   This website/blog is dedicated to my Mom!
